Plain-language summary: ClaimHunter helps you discover class action settlements you may qualify for. We provide information and tools to assist with claim filing.
ClaimHunter is a technology platform designed to help consumers discover class action lawsuits and settlements for which they may be eligible. The platform aggregates publicly available information about active settlements from curated sources, presents estimated per-person payout amounts, and provides guided tools to assist users in preparing and filing their claims with official settlement administrators. By using ClaimHunter, you acknowledge that the platform is intended as an informational and organizational tool to simplify the process of finding and participating in class action settlements.
2. Not Legal Counsel
Plain-language summary: This platform is an informational tool only. We are not a law firm, we do not provide legal advice, and we do not file claims on your behalf.
ClaimHunter is a technology platform that aggregates publicly available information about class action settlements. The platform does not constitute legal advice, legal representation, or attorney-client relationship. We are not a law firm and do not provide legal advice. ClaimHunter does not file claims on behalf of users. All claim submissions are made directly by users on the official settlement administrator websites. Users should consult with a qualified attorney for legal advice specific to their situation. No information provided by ClaimHunter should be construed as legal counsel or as a substitute for professional legal advice. The use of this platform does not create any attorney-client relationship between you and ClaimHunter or any of its affiliates, employees, or contractors.
3. Liability Release
Plain-language summary: We make reasonable efforts to provide accurate settlement information, but we cannot guarantee accuracy of all data. By using this platform, you acknowledge the limitations below.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, ClaimHunter, its officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of or inability to use the platform. While we make reasonable efforts to ensure the accuracy of settlement information displayed on the platform, we do not warrant or guarantee the accuracy, completeness, timeliness, or reliability of any information provided. You acknowledge that settlement details, including eligibility requirements, filing deadlines, and payout amounts, are sourced from third-party settlement administrators and may change without notice. ClaimHunter shall not be held liable for any missed deadlines, ineligible claims, denied claims, or other adverse outcomes resulting from reliance on information provided through the platform. Our total aggregate liability to you for any claims arising from your use of the platform shall not exceed the amount you have paid to ClaimHunter in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
4. Payout Estimates
Plain-language summary: Per-person payout amounts shown are estimates based on publicly available data and AI analysis. Actual payouts may differ significantly.
The per-person payout estimates displayed on ClaimHunter are calculated using publicly available information about settlement fund sizes, class sizes, and distribution methodologies. These estimates are generated through a combination of automated data extraction and artificial intelligence analysis. Actual payout amounts may differ significantly from the estimates shown on the platform due to factors including but not limited to: the total number of valid claims filed, administrative and legal fees deducted from the settlement fund, variations in claim eligibility tiers, pro-rata distribution adjustments, and changes to settlement terms approved by the court. You should not rely on the estimated payout amounts as guaranteed or promised payments. ClaimHunter makes no warranty or representation regarding the accuracy of payout estimates and shall not be liable for any discrepancy between estimated and actual payout amounts.
5. User Responsibilities
Plain-language summary: You are responsible for verifying your eligibility and the accuracy of information you provide when filing claims.
By using ClaimHunter, you agree that you are solely responsible for: (a) verifying your eligibility for any class action settlement before filing a claim; (b) ensuring the accuracy and completeness of all information you provide when filing claims through settlement administrator websites; (c) meeting all filing deadlines and requirements set by settlement administrators; (d) reviewing and understanding the terms of each settlement before submitting a claim; and (e) maintaining the security of your account credentials and profile information. You acknowledge that class action claim forms are typically submitted under penalty of perjury, and that providing false or misleading information on claim forms may constitute fraud. ClaimHunter does not verify the accuracy of information you provide and is not responsible for rejected or denied claims.
6. Data Handling
Plain-language summary: We encrypt your personal information and never share it with third parties except as needed to provide the service.
ClaimHunter takes the security of your personal information seriously. All personally identifiable information (PII) stored on our platform, including but not limited to your name, address, date of birth, and partial Social Security number, is encrypted at rest using industry-standard encryption methods. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. Your data may be shared only as necessary to provide the service (such as with our infrastructure providers Supabase and Stripe) or as required by law. For complete details on our data practices, please review our Privacy Policy.
7. Referral Program
Plain-language summary: Share your invite link. When a friend signs up and subscribes to a paid plan within 30 days, you both get one month of ClaimHunter free.
- Each referred person only earns one reward, regardless of how many codes they are invited with. Duplicate referrals are consolidated and only the first one becomes eligible.
- The reward is credited once the referred friend subscribes to a paid plan within 30 days of signing up through your link. Signups alone do not qualify.
- Rewards are issued as a Stripe credit worth one month at the then-current price of your plan, applied on your next invoice. Credits have no cash value and cannot be transferred or refunded.
- Self-referrals (inviting yourself or another account you control) and same-household invites (inviting an authorized family member already on your account) are not eligible.
- ClaimHunter may pause, modify, or end the referral program at any time, including disqualifying specific accounts for patterns that indicate abuse (rapid-fire signups, disposable email addresses, shared payment methods across referrer and referee, etc.).
- Disputes about specific referral credits can be raised by emailing support. We aim to respond within five business days.
8. User Eligibility & Account Rules
Plain-language summary: You must be at least 18 and a U.S. resident to use the platform. One account per person.
You must be at least eighteen (18) years of age and a resident of the United States to create an account on ClaimHunter. We do not knowingly collect information from, or offer services to, minors under the age of eighteen. Each user may maintain a single account tied to a single verified email address. You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us promptly at support@claimhunter.com of any unauthorized access. We may suspend or terminate accounts that are shared between multiple people (other than through the household/family-member feature), that use disposable or alias email addresses to evade account limits, or that we reasonably believe are being used fraudulently.
9. Subscription Terms & Billing
Plain-language summary: Paid plans renew automatically until you cancel. We lock accounts on unpaid invoices with no grace period.
ClaimHunteroffers tiered subscription plans. By subscribing, you authorize us (through our payment processor, Stripe) to charge your payment method on a recurring basis at the then-current price of your plan until you cancel. You may cancel at any time from the billing settings page; cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period and you retain access through that period. Refunds are not provided for partial billing periods except where required by applicable law. If a renewal charge fails and is not cured within the window described in your plan, your account may be locked out of paid features until the outstanding balance is paid. We reserve the right to adjust pricing with at least thirty (30) days' notice before the next renewal.
10. Acceptable Use
Plain-language summary: Don't scrape us, don't file fake claims, don't resell our data.
You agree not to, and not to attempt to: (a) reverse engineer, decompile, scrape, crawl, data-mine, or otherwise extract the platform's content at scale; (b) resell, sublicense, or redistribute settlement listings, payout estimates, or any derivative work thereof; (c) use the platform to file false, fraudulent, or bad-faith claims; (d) submit another person's personal information without their consent or the legal authority to act on their behalf; (e) circumvent rate limits, subscription gates, or account lockouts; (f) upload malicious code or attempt to compromise platform security; (g) use automated systems (bots, scripts, headless browsers) to access the service except as expressly permitted through our public API and within its rate limits. Violations may result in immediate account termination, forfeiture of referral credits, and where appropriate, referral to law enforcement.
11. Intellectual Property
Plain-language summary: We own our platform and branding. You own your profile data. Settlement information comes from public sources.
The ClaimHunter platform, including its software, user-interface design, logos, word marks, aggregated settlement database structure, and AI-enrichment pipeline, is owned by ClaimHunter and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual-property laws. The underlying settlement information is sourced from publicly available notices, court filings, and administrator websites; the specific compilation, categorization, eligibility analysis, and payout estimates produced by our platform are our proprietary work. You retain ownership of the personal profile information you provide. By submitting feedback, ratings, comments, or user-generated reports, you grant us a perpetual, royalty-free, worldwide license to use that content in an aggregated or anonymized form to operate and improve the platform.
